Each year in June, the Arkansas Archeological Survey teams up with the Arkansas Archeological Society to hold a Training Program in Archeology for interested members of the Society. The Training Program teaches archeological techniques and procedures to participants who assist with research while learning about Arkansas’s past.
The 2019 Training Program was held in De Queen, Arkansas from June 8 to June 22. Check back soon for a summary, or go to https://arkarch.org/activities/the-training-program/ for information on the research plans, logistics, seminars, and registration costs.
